PUEBLO ICEBREAKERS

Our focus is on helping our youth build character, sportsmanship, confidence, to learn responsibility and teamwork in a competitive environment. With an emphasis on self-discipline, moral values and academic achievement. We would like to create and shape positive role models. The highest level of character and leadership from our players and coaches. Objectives include the development of positive social values, character traits, good citizenship, physical and mental health knowledge, and appreciation for the interest of football and cheerleading. There is also a goal for our organization to instill the will to win and ability to accept defeat and disappointment with grace. We always want to have an emphasis on clean sportsmanship, a positive attitude and conduct in our communities as we build and encourage each other. We want to be a league that can devote the extra time to help students with a learning disability  ADD, AHD, Autistic, hearing impaired, to name a few. These are children that often want to play but  require extra assistance or coaching, the little extra time that many are not able to provide. We want to  help these children excel and build their self-confidence. Helping them to learn to believe in  themselves, learn accountability of their actions and attitude as they develop into young adults. These  children want to be included and be a part of something, we want to be the positive influence for these young adults. Showing them that despite their disadvantages, there is a place for them in our community and in our league. We want to help them realize that they can be a productive member of their team, their family and their community. They do not have to sit on the bench and watch; they can contribute. We would like to give back to the community that we have grown to love. Setting an example  for these young adults on how to give back to others in our community, by helping our neighbors and  neighborhoods. Encourage them to show small acts of kindness, such as shoveling a neighbor’s sidewalk, or helping to take their trash out. Showing them that little acts of kindness add up and do make a  difference. We want them to understand that they can made a difference in their communities and neighborhoods.
